Salary/ Rate: £71-£80 per day

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a Special Educational Needs school in the North West supporting pupils with behavioural difficulties and working with them in small groups. This role is for 5 days per week, is to start as soon as possible until July working full time.

The ideal candidate will have previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience, will be confident undertaking work to the EYFS, Key Stage 1, 2, 3 and 4, 5 curriculums and must have experience in supporting pupils with SEN including Behavioural Difficulties.

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint an SEN 1:1 TA to work in Key Stage 2 at a school in the North West with a pupil with behavioural difficulties. Experience of supporting children with special educational needs is essential and having an understanding of a range of SEND is required. This role is for 5 days per week.

The ideal candidate will be working closely with the class teacher, supporting the pupil to overcome barriers to learning, attend EHAT/TAC meetings where appropriate, maintain accurate records and to use a range of strategies to support positive behaviour and wellbeing.  This is a long term position to start ASAP until July 2023.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
