Secondary Challenging Behaviour Art Teacher

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a full time Art Teacher to work in an Secondary SEMH school with very challenging behaviour in Birkenhead. They are looking for a teacher to work 5 days per week on a long term basis.

The School are looking at taking on either an ECT or a Qualified Teacher for this role as long as the ideal candidate is able to implement strong behaviour management strategies whilst adhering to school policies. Previous teaching experience is desirable.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed. or a BA Hons

Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident

Have previous experience of working with children and supporting pupils with challenging behaviour

Have good knowledge of the full Art curriculum

Previous KS3 and KS4 teaching experience

Two references working with children covering the last 2 years

Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a SEN Primary School with pupils who have Complex Needs in Liverpool. This role is for 5 days per week and will start asap on an ongoing basis. This role may include some Personal Care.  

Previous SEN experience is required and working within Key Stage 3 and 4 classes

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to work across KS1 at a school in Bootle, St Helens, and Toxteth supporting with personal care, Complex Needs and Challenging Behaviour. This role is for 5 days per week, is to start as soon as possible working full time on a long term basis.  

The ideal candidate will have previous Teaching Assistant experience, previous personal care experience and previous experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs.  An understanding and training in PEC’s, Teach or Team Teach would be desirable.

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a an SEN One to One TA to work across a school in Liverpool with a pupils with Challenging behaviour. Experience of supporting children with special educational needs is essential and having an understanding of a range of SEND is required. This role is for 5 days per week.

The ideal candidate will be working closely with the class teacher and the SEN team, supporting the pupil  to overcome barriers to learning, attend EHAT/TAC meetings where appropriate, maintain accurate records and to use a range of strategies to support positive behaviour and wellbeing.  This is a long term position to start in January until the summer term.

  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
