Exclusive Education is looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a Special Educational Needs school in the North West supporting pupils with varied Special Educational Needs.

This role is supporting pupils in Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 with Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties and Severe Learning Difficulties. This role is for 5 days per week, it is to start immediately until July 2023 working full time.

The ideal candidate will have previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience, will be confident undertaking work to the EYFS, Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 curriculums and must have experience in supporting pupils with SEN. Must also be confident in differentiation.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years

The ideal candidate will have previous Teaching Assistant experience, will be confident undertaking work to the KS3 and KS4 curriculum. The candidate must also be experienced in providing personal care and have experience in supporting pupils with Social Emotional and Mental Health, Behaviour, attachment and trauma and know how to work as part of the Nurture Group. SALT training would be desirable.
