Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a Behavioural Specialist Teaching Assistant to work in a Special Educational Needs school in the North West. The role will initially be for one term but potentially will be for the academic year. The role will be working with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues and challenging behaviour.

The ideal candidate will have previous Teaching Assistant experience, working with pupils with Behavioural Difficulties. Previous experience working with pupils with Autism is highly desirable.  An understanding and training in PEC’s, Teach or Team Teach would be desirable.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
  • Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Previous KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5 experience
  • Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Two references working with children
  • Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

SEN Maths Teacher Required

Salary/ Rate: £95-£140 per day depending on experience

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher to work in an SEMH School in the North West. The role will start as soon as possible on a potentially long term basis. They are looking for a teacher to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching. Working in a friendly, lively and vibrant school. The position is full time and for an immediate start.

Ideally you will have:
• Experience teaching children with SEMH
• KS3 and KS4 Maths
• Experience working with in SEMH school/PRU (Not essential but advantageous)
• The desire and ability to work on an individual and team basis

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed. or a BA Hons
