Primary Teaching Assistant – Wigan

Teaching Assistant Required

Salary/ Rate: £71-£80 per day

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a TA to work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 at a school in the North West. This role is for 5 days per week, is to start in as soon as possible working full time.

The ideal candidate will have previous TA experience, will be confident undertaking work to the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum. Also working in the ASD base will be required.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Previous EYFS, KS1 and KS2 experience
  • Two references working with children
  • Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a TA to work across KS3 and KS4 at a Secondary School in Skelmersdale with Challenging Behaviour. This role is for 5 days per week, is to start immediately until July 2023.

The ideal candidate will have previous TA experience, will be confident undertaking work to the KS3 and KS4 curriculum. The candidate must also be experienced in providing personal care and have experience in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour. SALT training would be desirable.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable but not essential)
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
  • Excellent knowledge of the secondary curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Experience in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Previous KS3, 4 and 5 experience
  • Two references working with children
  • Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

Complex Needs SEN Teaching Assistant

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to work across EYFS, through to Key Stage 5 at a school in the North West with pupils with Complex Needs. The candidate will need to be over the age of 23 to work here or 21 but must have a TA Qualification to work at the school. This role is for 5 days per week, is to start in ASAP working full time until July 2023.

The ideal candidate will have previous Teaching Assistant experience, working with pupils with Complex Needs. Previous experience working with pupils is highly desirable.  An understanding and training in PEC’s, Teach or Team Teach would be desirable.

The ideal candidate will have previous Teaching Assistant experience, they will be working on a 1:1 basis with Key Stage 3 pupil with Autism and Challenging Behaviour. Previous experience working with pupils with Autism is highly desirable. An understanding and training in PEC’s, Teach or Team Teach would be desirable.
