Mechanics SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary/ Rate: £65 per day

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a Mechanic SEN Teaching Assistant to work across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 at a school in the North West supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs. This role is for 5 days per week, is to start as soon as possible working full time. The role will be working with pupils with SEMH and Challanging Behaviour.

The ideal candidate will have previous Mechanic experience, will be confident undertaking work to the Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 curriculum and have experience in supporting pupils with SEN.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
  • Excellent knowledge of Mechanic experience
  • Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Two references working with children
  • Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

Salary/ Rate: £65 per day
Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who is required to work in a vocational provision at a Special School. The role will be supporting the Mechanics Teacher in the delivery to the mechanics programme with young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues and challenging behaviour. The successful candidate will have experience of supporting young people with challenging behaviour and barriers to learning. A previous working background in mechanics is not essential, but a keen interest and knowledge of cars and mechanics would be needed for the role.
The role is for an immediate start.
