Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a HLTA to work in a school in Warrington. This role is for 3 days per week, is to start immediate until July 2023.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified HLTA and have previous experience, to be confident undertaking all curriculums. The role is to cover all ages within the Primary School.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3)
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years

The ideal candidate will have previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience, will be confident undertaking work to the EYFS, Key Stage 1, 2, 3 and 4 curriculums and must have experience in supporting pupils with SEN including Down syndrome.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children and young people with challenging behaviour. An understanding and training in PEC’s, Teach or Team Teach would be desirable.

This role will involve academic support and activity based learning/learning through play. Experience working with children with SEMH would be advantageous.
