SEN Teaching Assistants – North West

SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary/ Rate: £71-£80 per day

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint SEN Teaching Assistant’s to work at both Mainstream and Special Education Need schools in the Northwest area supporting pupils with varied Special Educational Needs. These roles are for 5 days per week, is to start in September 2023.

The ideal candidates will have previous SEN Teaching Assistant experience, will be confident undertaking work to the EYFS, Key Stage 1, 2, 3 and 4 curriculums and must have experience in supporting pupils with SEN. Also will consider candidates with a background working in care, residential support work, sports coaching would be welcome for these roles as well as those without SEN experience but looking to build their experience in this area.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
  • Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Previous EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 experience
  • Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Two references working with children
  • Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

This role is for 5 days per week, is to start as soon as possible until July working full time. This role is Full Time temporary or Temp to Perm.

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a SEN TA to work in Autistic Provision with 12 pupils in a school in Winsford within Key Stage 1 and 2. Experience of supporting children with special educational needs is essential and having an understanding of a range of SEND is required. This role is for 5 days per week.

The ideal candidate will be working closely with the class teacher and the EYFS team, supporting the pupil to overcome barriers to learning, attend EHAT/TAC meetings where appropriate, maintain accurate records and to use a range of strategies to support positive behaviour and wellbeing.  This is a long term position to start immediately until July 2023.

  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)

Secondary Maths Teacher

Exclusive Education are looking for a Maths Teacher to work at a school in the North West. The successful candidate will be driven and passionate, and demonstrate excellence through high quality teaching and learning.

The ideal teacher will be experienced, high achieving and dedicated in Mathematics. A Teacher who is passionate about building confidence and keeping pupils engaged, must be able to independently plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that progress pupils toward achievement.

Candidates are required to have recent experience of teaching Mathematics. Applications from NQT’s will be considered. You’ll also be responsible for marking students’ work and providing them with necessary feedback, encouragement and support. Teaching students up to KS3, KS4  KS5, BTEC, Y12 and Y13.

  • Legal right to work in the UK
