Maths Teacher

Exclusive Education are looking for a Maths Teacher to work at a school in Stoke on Trent. The successful candidate will be driven and passionate, and demonstrate excellence through high quality teaching and learning.

The ideal teacher will be experienced, high achieving and dedicated in Mathematics. A Teacher who is passionate about building confidence and keeping pupils engaged, must be able to independently plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that progress pupils toward achievement.

Candidates are required to have recent experience of teaching Mathematics. Applications from NQT’s will be considered. You’ll also be responsible for marking students’ work and providing them with necessary feedback, encouragement and support. Teaching students up to KS3, KS4  KS5, BTEC, Y12 and Y13.

Cover Supervisor

Exclusive Education are looking for a Cover Supervisor to work in local schools in Stoke on Trent. Working as a Cover Supervisor is an ideal way of building on past school experience for those looking to gain a career in the education sector or go on to complete Teacher Training.

 

Cover Supervisors are required on an ongoing basis to:

 

  • Provide the pupils with work already set by the Teacher
  • Supervise and manage a classroom of pupils, while enabling a constructive and positive learning environment
  • Collect completed work after the lesson and pass to the appropriate teacher
  • Provide feedback to senior staff where appropriate

 

Applicants are expected to have at least 6 months experience of working with children in the past 2 years, formal qualifications are not necessary. Applicants who have experience teaching sports clubs to children, attended Camp America or Active Soccer or have other similar experiences will be suitable for the role.

 

The following skills are desirable for becoming a Cover Supervisor:

 

  • Highly adaptable as there is no a regular timetable
  • Open to work in a range of schools and areas
  • Resilient as you will deal with a variety of situations
  • Behaviour management skills

Physics Teacher

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a Teacher of Science (Physics) across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and A-Level Key Stage 5, inspiring students to have a passion for the subject and an understanding of its key ideas, concepts and skills.

The successful candidate will be able to explicitly model and develop models of teaching and learning so that students can make connections and apply their learning in a variety of contexts. Humanities Teacher

A Humanities Teacher is required in a Secondary School to teach 11 to 16 year olds. The right candidate will hold a background in teaching History, Geography and/or Religious Studies ideally up to KS5, although KS3/4 teachers will also be considered.

You must have the following:

  • Experience of teaching History, Geography and R.E up to Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 is desirable)
  • Ability to use a variety of teaching techniques such as whole class lessons, discussions, individual assignments or group work
  • Ability to organise and direct the whole class and provide additional support where required
  • Capability to create lesson plans, assignments, projects, tests, and marking pupils’ work
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Have the ability and confidence to engage and motivate pupils through creative lessons
  • Ability to deal with and de-escalate challenging situations in a calm and timely manner
  • Have the ability to be able to work as part of a team as well as being able to effectively work individually
  • Develop a good rapport with students, department and members of staff

Physics Teacher

Exclusive Education are looking for a Physics Teacher to start in September. In a school in Stoke-on-Trent.  The position is full time and will be teaching Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 & Key Stage 5 Physics as well as general science to GCSE & A-Level students.

We are looking for a dynamic, experienced and inspiring scientist for the demand of one of our clients. The school is looking for a passionate and confident Science Teacher who has the ability to motivate students about science and raise their achievement through delivering outstanding practice.
