SEN ICT Teacher Required

Salary/ Rate: £95-£140 per day depending on experience

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a ICT Teacher to work in a Special Educational Needs school specifically EBD and challanging behaviour in the North West. The role will start in September on a potentially ongoing basis. They are looking for a teacher to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching. Working in a friendly, lively and vibrant school.

The School are looking at taking on either an NQT or a Qualified Teacher for this role as long as the ideal candidate is able to implement strong behaviour management strategies whilst adhering to school policies. Previous teaching experience is desirable.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

Computer Science Teacher

A Computer Science Teacher is required for a part time role teaching Computer Science to a Year 11 pupil with anxiety and attachment issues. The role will involve teaching a tailored programme to match the needs and abilities of the pupil. The suitable candidate will have previous experience working with pupils with anxiety and attachement issues. The role is to start as soon as possible and will be on an ongoing basis.

SEMH NQT – Skelmersdale

SEMH NQT

Salary/ Rate: £90 per day

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint an SEMH NQT to work across EYFS, through to Key Stage 2 at a school in the North West with a pupil with Special Educational Needs. This role is for 5 days per week, is to start as soon as possible working full time.

The ideal candidate will have previous NQT experience, working with pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health . Previous experience working with pupils with Autism is highly desirable.  An understanding and training in PEC’s, Teach or Team Teach would be desirable.

Nurture Teacher

A Nurture Teacher is required for a long term role from September 2020 who is compassionate, keen and caring individual to join the team to support pupils with Scoial, Emotional and Mental Health issues and challenging behaviour. The role will require a child centred approach to learning working with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils who have be excluded from other mainstream and Special schools. The role will involve:
– leading the learning of a group of pupils who experience a range of needs and challenges (primarily social,
emotional and behavioural).
– To play a lead role in the development of the nurture group in accordance with nurture group principles to
ensure that barriers to learning are reduced and to support students achieve their full potential.
– To take a supporting role in monitoring to ensure that the school’s systems for promoting positive behaviour
and attitudes to learning are effective.
– To plan and deliver engaging and motivating experiences relevant to the nurture group principles (children’s
learning is understood developmentally; the classroom offers a safe base; nurture is important for the
development of self-esteem; language is understood as a vital means of communication; all behaviour is
communication; transitions are significant in the lives of children).
• To develop an appropriate, broad, balanced, relevant, differentiated and challenging curriculum to all pupils
appropriate to their needs.
• To provide support for a named group of children through a carefully structured timetable that balances
learning, affection and structure within a caring home-like atmosphere
