Personal Care Teaching Assistant

Salary/ Rate: £65 per day

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to work across EYFS, through to Key Stage 5 at a school in the North West supporting with personal care, Complex Needs and Challenging Behaviour. This role is for 5 days per week, is to start as soon as possible working full time on a long term basis.

The ideal candidate will have previous Teaching Assistant experience, previous personal care experience and previous experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs.  An understanding and training in PEC’s, Teach or Team Teach would be desirable.

They are looking for a teacher to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching. Working in a friendly, lively and vibrant school. The candidate must have experience in supporting pupils with SLD and Autism.

The School are looking at taking on either an NQT or a Qualified Teacher for this role as long as the ideal candidate is able to implement strong behaviour management strategies whilst adhering to school policies. Previous teaching experience is desirable.

Secondary Maths Teacher

Humanities Teacher

A Humanities Teacher is required in a Secondary School to teach 11 to 16 year olds. The right candidate will hold a background in teaching History, Geography and/or Religious Studies ideally up to KS5, although KS3/4 teachers will also be considered.

You must have the following:

  • Experience of teaching History, Geography and R.E up to Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 is desirable)
  • Ability to use a variety of teaching techniques such as whole class lessons, discussions, individual assignments or group work
  • Ability to organise and direct the whole class and provide additional support where required
  • Capability to create lesson plans, assignments, projects, tests, and marking pupils’ work
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Have the ability and confidence to engage and motivate pupils through creative lessons
  • Ability to deal with and de-escalate challenging situations in a calm and timely manner
  • Have the ability to be able to work as part of a team as well as being able to effectively work individually
  • Develop a good rapport with students, department and members of staff

You must have:

  • QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
  • At least 6 months experience working with children in the last 2 years
  • Legal right to work in the UK
