Humanities Teacher

A Humanities Teacher is required in a Secondary School to teach 11 to 16 year olds. The right candidate will hold a background in teaching History, Geography and/or Religious Studies ideally up to KS5, although KS3/4 teachers will also be considered.

You must have the following:

  • Experience of teaching History, Geography and R.E up to Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 is desirable)
  • Ability to use a variety of teaching techniques such as whole class lessons, discussions, individual assignments or group work
  • Ability to organise and direct the whole class and provide additional support where required
  • Capability to create lesson plans, assignments, projects, tests, and marking pupils’ work
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Have the ability and confidence to engage and motivate pupils through creative lessons
  • Ability to deal with and de-escalate challenging situations in a calm and timely manner
  • Have the ability to be able to work as part of a team as well as being able to effectively work individually
  • Develop a good rapport with students, department and members of staff

You must have:

  • QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
  • At least 6 months experience working with children in the last 2 years
  • Legal right to work in the UK

 

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, cost of which will be met by the applicant, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and professional reference checks

English Teacher

Exclusive Education are looking for a English Teacher to work at a school in the North West. The successful candidate will be driven and passionate, and demonstrate excellence through high quality teaching and learning.

The ideal teacher will be experienced, high achieving and dedicated in English. A Teacher who is passionate about building confidence and keeping pupils engaged, must be able to independently plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that progress pupils toward achievement.

Candidates are required to have recent experience of teaching English. Applications from NQT’s will be considered. You’ll also be responsible for marking students’ work and providing them with necessary feedback, encouragement and support. Teaching students up to KS3, KS4  KS5, BTEC, Y12 and Y13.

Design & Technology Teacher

Exclusive Education are currently working with a Secondary School who are looking for a Design and Technology Teacher who specialises in Design Technology. They are looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic, motivating and engaging to work with the pupils throughout the school. This position is ideal for an experienced Teacher as well as an NQT.

The ideal teacher will be an experienced, high achieving and dedicated Design Technology Teacher who is passionate about building confidence and keeping pupils engaged, must be able to independently plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that progress pupils toward achievement.

Teaching across the whole school from Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 including GCSEs you will need to have the ability to motivate pupils and encourage a positive learning environment through construction and the school curriculum.
