A Level 2 Teaching Assistant is required to work in a Primary School in the North West on long term, short term and day to day contracts. You will be supporting the Class Teacher with organising and preparing classroom resources and then assisting pupils with the use of them. You will also be supporting pupils on a one to one basis with their academic and personal development so building good relationships with the pupils is essential. Previous experience of working with reception pupils would be an advantage.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Exclusive Education are looking for a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to work in on short term, long term and day to day contract in a variety of schools across the North West.  You will be addressing the needs of children who require help to overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside the school, in order to achieve their full potential and to enable the school to raise standards of achievement, improve attendance and raise standards of behaviour. You will need to also work in a pastoral role with identified children’s families and work in partnership with other professional agencies.

In addition, you will:

  • work with pupils on individual targets set by teaching staff
  • organise liaison on behalf of pupils with colleagues, parents and outside agencies in a professional manner being aware of confidentiality
  • be able to support and develop our nurture group
  • support for teachers by raising the awareness of teaching staff to the strengths and difficulties of individual pupils
  • assist teaching staff in the monitoring and evaluation of pupils’ progress, providing them with feedback on observations undertaken
  • understanding the emotional and social needs of pupils with whom working and contribute to planning of learning activities
  • assist in the assessment and monitoring of individual pupils and their Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for children who need learning support
  • completed other duties as required by the teaching staff

Science Teacher

Exclusive Education are looking for a Science Teacher to work with pupils aged 11-19, guiding them through their GCSEs and A-levels. You will be responsible for preparing lesson plans and teaching pupils in accordance with the national curriculum.

SEN Primary Teacher

A Primary Teacher is required for a full time temporary post working at an all age Special School for children and young people with severe and complex Learning Difficulties. The role is teaching a mixed age Primary class. The class has pupils with a wide range of needs and abilities and therefore a good understanding of sensory activities and working a P – Levels is essential.

The role with be delivering a range of subjects to a number of pupils working at levels considerably lower than the National average. Strong classroom and behaviour management is essential as well as the ability to quickly build rapport with pupils who can have challenging behaviour.
