SEMH Teaching Assistant
Salary/ Rate: £86 – £95 per day Depending on experience
Exclusive Education is looking to appoint an SEMH Teaching Assistant to work within a SEN school in the North West. This role is for 5 days per week, is to start as soon as possible working full time. The role is to work with pupils within Key stage 3 supporting with Social, Emotional and mental health needs and challenging behaviour.
The ideal candidate will have previous Teaching Assistant experience, working with pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health. Previous experience working with pupils within a school setting is desirable but school are happy to consider candidates with other experience of working with children and young people from other settings including sports coaching, residential and care.
In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;
- Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) (desirable)
- Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
- Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
- Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Previous EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3 and KS4 experience
- Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Two references working with children
- Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a Design Technology Teacher to work in a Special Educational Needs school in Altrincham. The role will start ASAP on a full time basis. They are looking for a teacher to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching. Working in a friendly, lively and vibrant school.
The School are looking at taking on either an NQT or a Qualified Teacher for this role as long as the ideal candidate is able to implement strong behaviour management strategies whilst adhering to school policies. Previous teaching experience is desirable.
