Applicants will have;

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Team Teach training would also be highly desirable

A Special Needs Teacher is required for a full time temporary post. The position is working in a Special School teaching Primary pupils and Secondary pupil with Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties.

Key Stage 3 Special Needs Teacher

A Teacher is required for a long term role at an all-age special school catering for children and young people with severe and complex learning difficulties.

The role will be teaching a Key Stage 3 class with pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties and Severe Autism. It is a complex class with challenging behaviour. Knowledge of planning and assessment at P – Levels is essential.

The ideal candidate will have a have strong background working with SEN pupils and supporting pupils working at a wide range of abilities. Experience working in a Special School setting teaching pupils with Autism and associated Learning Difficulties would be highly desirable. An understanding and training in PEC’s, Teacch or Team Teach would also be desirable.

Special Educational Needs Science Teacher

A Science Teacher is required for a position at a Special School in the North West.

The role will be working in a Special School working with Secondary aged pupils with Complex Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour. The role will involve teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science to with pupils with extreme behavioural difficulties.

Applicants must be Qualified Teacher Status and have experience working with pupils with SEBD ideally in a Special School setting. An enhanced disclosure will be required which will be payable by the candidate.

Applicants must have;

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with pupils with SEBD ideally in a Special School setting
  • Experience of working with children with Challenging Behaviour

One to One Teaching Assistant

The successful applicant will provide tailored support to the pupil’s specific needs and work with the pupil to manage behaviour and triggers.
