SEN Science Teacher

We are crying out for Science teachers in the North West area as we currently don’t have enough people available for the opportunities that we have.

The role will be working in a Special School working with Secondary aged pupils with Social Emotional and Mental Health Issues. The role will involve teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science to with pupils with extreme behavioural difficulties.

Applicants must be Qualified Teacher Status and have experience working with pupils with SEBD ideally in a Special School setting. An enhanced disclosure will be required which will be payable by the candidate.

Applicants must have;

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with pupils with SEBD ideally in a Special School setting
  • Experience of working with children with Challenging Behaviour

Applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, the cost of which will be met by the applicant.

SEN Maths Teacher

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher that specialises in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs to teach Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to pupils of varying abilities.

The ideal teacher will be an experienced, high achieving and dedicated Maths Teacher who is passionate about building confidence and keeping pupils engaged, must be able to independently plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that progress pupils toward achievement.

Candidates are required to have recent experience of teaching Maths applications from NQT’s will be considered. You’ll also be responsible for marking students’ work and providing them with necessary feedback, encouragement and support.

The successful applicant will:

All school policies and procedures must be follow consistently.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong knowledge of the national curriculum
  • A firm understanding of the Safeguarding and Welfare Requirements
  • A genuine passion for working with children with the commitment that the children are at the centre of everything you do
  • Excellent communication skills with children, their families and your colleagues

You must have:

  • QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
  • At least 6 months experience working with children in the last 2 years

IT/Computing SEN Teacher

An ICT/Computing Teacher is required for a role working in a Special School which caters for Secondary aged pupils with complex Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour.  The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject and working with pupils with extreme behaviour and should have a proven record in improving results with disengaged pupils.
