Salary/ Rate: £66 – £70 per day
Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a Behavioural Specialist Teaching Assistant to work in a Special Educational Needs school in the North West. The candidate is required for a long term full time position from September 2021 through until the end of the academic year. The role will be working with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues and challenging behaviour. It will also include supporting the pupil on a one to one basis and class basis, building trust and breaking down barriers to learning.
The ideal candidate will have previous Teaching Assistant experience, working with pupils with Behavioural Difficulties. Previous experience working with pupils with Autism is highly desirable. An understanding and training in PEC’s, Teach or Team Teach would be desirable.
