Special Educational Needs Teacher

A Special Needs Teacher is required for a Pupil Referral Unit which caters for Secondary aged pupils with complex Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviour. The role will involve teaching a range of subjects across the Curriculum.

Applicants must have;

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with pupils with SEBD ideally in a Special School setting
  • Sound knowledge of child development as well as a working knowledge of Autism
  • Experience working in a Special School setting teaching pupils with Autism and associated Learning Difficulties
  • An understanding and training in PEC’s, Teach or Team Teach would also be desirable

SEN Teacher

SEN Teacher (EYFS ASD)

 

A Special Needs Teacher is required for role working  with pupils with varying Special Educational Needs.

The ideal candidate will;

  • Sound knowledge of child development as well as a working knowledge of SEN pupils
  • Experience working in a Special School setting teaching pupils with Autism and associated Learning Difficulties
  • An understanding and training in PEC’s, Teacch or Team Teach would also be desirable

Special Needs Teaching Assistant

A  Learning Support Assistant is required for a Special School in the Wrexham area.

The candidate will have experience in working within a setting where pupils have Extreme Behaviour and Social and Emotional Behavioural Difficulties. De-escalation and restraint training such as Team Teach or MAPA is an advantage, but not required.

Key Stage 2 EBD Teacher

A Special Educational Needs Primary Teacher is required to teach a class of Key stage 2 children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. Experience is necessary for this role as there is Extreme and Challenging Behaviour. Team Teach or training on a similar course would be an advantage. Key Stage 3 Special Needs Teacher

A Teacher is required for a long term role at an all-age special school catering for children and young people with severe and complex learning difficulties.

The role will be teaching a Key Stage 3 class with pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties and Severe Autism. It is a complex class with challenging behaviour. Knowledge of planning and assessment at P – Levels is essential.

The ideal candidate will have a have strong background working with SEN pupils and supporting pupils working at a wide range of abilities. Experience working in a Special School setting teaching pupils with Autism and associated Learning Difficulties would be highly desirable. An understanding and training in PEC’s, Teacch or Team Teach would also be desirable.

SEN Teacher (SLD & PMLD)

A Special Needs Teacher is required for a full time temporary post. The position is working in a Special School teaching Primary pupils and Secondary pupil with Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties.

Applicants must have Special school experience and experience working with pupils with Autism and Severe and Complex Learning Difficulties. Candidates MUST have qualified Teacher Status.
