Year 2 Teacher

Exclusive Education are currently working with a Primary School who are currently looking to recruit a Year 2 Teacher. They are looking for a teacher to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching. Working in a friendly, lively and vibrant school, this position is ideal for an experienced Teacher as well as an NQT.

We are currently looking for a flexible practitioner who is able to motivate pupils to develop attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for primary education.  As a reflective teacher you will evaluate and review your own teaching methods, materials and plans, making appropriate changes when required.

  • A firm understanding of the Safeguarding and Welfare Requirements
  • A genuine passion for working with children with the commitment that the children are at the centre of everything you do
  • Excellent communication skills with children, their families and your colleagues

Ideally, you will be able to:

  • Promote positive behaviour towards learning for all pupils
  • Establish and develop close relationships with parents, governors and the community
  • Create a happy, challenging and effective learning environment

You must have:

  • QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
  • At least 6 months experience working with children in the last 2 years
  • Legal right to work in the UK

Teaching Assistant Year 2

The successful candidate will receive the appropriate training and support for the school.

You will need to work alongside the Class Teacher providing whole class support as well as working on a one to one support basis to provide academic support, personal development and guidance. You must be creative in your approach in order to motivate the pupils and keep them focussed throughout the lessons. One to One Teaching Assistant

Exclusive Education are seeking a Teaching Assistant for one of our Primary Schools in the South Liverpool area to work with pupils on a 1:1 basis both in and out of the classroom. The school are looking to recruit an enthusiastic teaching assistant with experience of supporting pupils in a classroom environment.

The school are looking for someone who can:

  • Work effectively with children to ensure they make progress
  • Work as part of the team at the direction of the class teacher to support teaching provision and pupils’ learning
  • Under the guidance of the teacher, work with a child with additional educational needs, to help them to achieve their full potential
  • Support and implement strategies for teaching and learning and help to prepare and organise classroom learning activities
  • Observe pupils’ performance and use the school systems to provide the teacher with feedback on pupil progress

The successful applicant will provide tailored support to the pupil’s specific needs and work with the pupil to manage behaviour and promote learning development.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with pupils on a 1:1 and/or group basis
  • A calm and nurturing approach
  • At least 6 months experience working with children in the last 2 years
  • Legal right to work in the UK

A Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desirable for this role however it is not essential.
