Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a SEN English Teacher to work in a Special Educational Needs school in Salford. The role will start in September on a Full time basis. They are looking for an SEN English teacher to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching. Working in a friendly, lively and vibrant school. 

The School are looking at taking on either an NQT or a Qualified Teacher for this SEN English Teacher role as long as the ideal candidate is able to implement strong behaviour management strategies whilst adhering to school policies. Previous teaching experience is desirable.  

In order to be considered for this SEN English Teacher role we require you meet the following criteria; 

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed. or a BA Hons 
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident 
  • Have previous experience of working with children and supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs 
  • Have good knowledge of the full English curriculum  
  • Previous KS3 and KS4 teaching experience 
  • Two references working with children covering the last 2 years 
  • Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

This role is for 5 days per week, is to start as soon as possible working full time. The role is to work with pupils from KS2 through to KS4 supporting with Social, Emotional and mental health needs and challenging behaviour. 

The ideal candidate will have previous Teaching Assistant experience, working with pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health. Previous experience working with pupils within a school setting is desirable but school are happy to consider candidates with other experience of working with children and young people from other settings including sports coaching, residential and care.

English Functional Needs High School Teacher

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint an English Functional Needs Teacher to work in a Special Educational Needs school in Manchester. The role will start as soon as possible until the end of the summer term. They are looking for a teacher to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching. Working in a friendly, lively and vibrant school. Previous experience of working as a Functional Skills Teacher would be required. 

The candidate must also have experience of: 

  • Working with SEN students working at pre-entry / Entry 1 level 
  • Vocational qualification- OCR Life and Living Skills 
  • ASD and strategies to support 
  • Understanding of challenging behaviour and how it is managed 
  • Working with students aged 16-19 years old

Part Time Design Technology Teacher

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a Design Technology Teacher to work in a Special Educational Needs school in the North West. The role will start in September for 2 days per week. They are looking for a teacher to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching. Working in a friendly, lively and vibrant school. 

The role is for a part time position working 2 days a week from September 2019 on a long term basis initially for a term but potentially for the academic year. The role would suit a good secondary trained teacher with SEMH experience. It will be working in Key Stage 3 and 4 with a mixture of Year 10’s and 11’s pupils with SEMH delivering lessons in Resistant Materials and Product Design

Teaching Assistant

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to work across Early Years Foundation Stages at a school in Wigan with pupils who have Autism. This SEN Teaching Assistant role is for 5 days per week, and is to start asap.

The ideal candidate for the SEN Teaching Assistant role will have previous Teaching Assistant experience, working with pupils with Autism and Challenging Behaviour. Previous experience working with pupils with Autism is highly desirable. An understanding and training in PEC’s, Teach or Team Teach would be desirable.
