SEMH Humanities Teacher

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint a Humanities Teacher to work in a Special Educational Needs school in Wigan. The role will start as soon as possible delivering Humanities across Key Stage 3 and 4 classes. They are looking for a teacher to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching. Working in a friendly, lively and vibrant school. 

The School are looking at taking on either an NQT or a Qualified Teacher for this role as long as the ideal candidate is able to implement strong behaviour management strategies whilst adhering to school policies. Previous teaching experience is desirable and experience of working with children and young people with Social, Emotional and mental health issues and Challenging Behaviour.  

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria; 

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed. or a BA Hons 
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident 
  • Have previous experience of working with children and supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs 
  • Have good knowledge of the full Humanities curriculum  
  • Previous KS3 and KS4 teaching experience 
  • Two references working with children covering the last 2 years 
  • Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

The role will start in September on a Full time basis. They are looking for an SEMH English teacher to take over the class and demonstrate outstanding teaching. Working in a friendly, lively and vibrant school.

Early Years Foundation Stages Teaching Assistant

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint an EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in a school in Wigan, Greater Manchester. This role is for 5 days per week and is to start in September 2024 on an ongoing basis.  

The ideal candidate will have previous Teaching Assistant experience, will be confident undertaking Phonics and is competent with EYFS assessment framework. 

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria; 

  • Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3) 
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident 
  • Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years

  • Previous EYFS experience

Teaching Assistant

Exclusive Education are looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to work across Early Years Foundation Stages at a school in Wigan with pupils who have Autism. This SEN Teaching Assistant role is for 5 days per week, and is to start asap.

The ideal candidate for the SEN Teaching Assistant role will have previous Teaching Assistant experience, working with pupils with Autism and Challenging Behaviour. Previous experience working with pupils with Autism is highly desirable. An understanding and training in PEC’s, Teach or Team Teach would be desirable.

In order to be considered for this SEN Teaching Assistant role we require you meet the following criteria;
